My husband is George and I have two sons, Maxwell and Charlie. Max will be a sophomore at Ohio University, studying Film Production and Charlie will be a freshman in high school. As a family, we enjoy going to the beach, swimming, hiking, dining, reading, and being outdoors.

About me.My name is Amy Williams and I come to Bridge Point with 23 years of teaching experience. My family recently moved to the Austin area from Oakwood, Ohio. I graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership, and earned a Gifted Education Endorsement from The University of Cincinnati. During my tenure, I have worked with students in grades 1-6 and spent five years as a Gifted Intervention Specialist. Throughout my career, I have served as a leader on Professional Development Committees, the District Leadership Team, the Ohio State Math Advisory Board, and multiple Curriculum Committees. As one of the co-creators of “The Place Project”, I brought year-round outdoor education opportunities to Oakwood elementary students.
I am thrilled to be working with the staff and children at Bridge Point. “Everyday, children stun and amaze me with their creativity, brilliance and compassion.” ~Amy |
